Dr. Dave Cornelius receives "Be Agile Week" proclamation from Mayor Jonathan Rothschild in Tucson, AZ.
WHEREAS, Agile is a practice used by businesses and people to respond to change; and
WHEREAS, Agile practices help people to self-organize, solve complex problems, and be empowered to make informed decisions; and
WHEREAS, Agile is practiced in Arizona, our nation, and throughout the world; and
WHEREAS, Agile can transform the way we work through collaboration, mindfulness and evaluating outcomes; and
WHEREAS, Agile Alliance is the largest organization of Agile practitioners and thought leaders; and
WHEREAS, over 1,000,000 professionals worldwide hold Scrum Alliance and Project Management Institute Agile certifications; and
WHEREAS, students receive Agile life skills through the 5Saturdays.org Agile education outreach program; and
WHEREAS, Agile coaches and trainers enable people to achieve “awesomeness” by pursuing happiness, optimizing flow, and accelerating innovation; and
WHEREAS, people will gather on March 12, 2019 through March 16, 2019 at the Agile Open Arizona Conference in Tucson to experience Agile in action;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jonathan Rothschild, Mayor of the City of Tucson, Arizona, do hereby proclaim March 11, 2019 through March 17, 2019 to be
Be Agile Week
in this community, and encourage all our residents to learn more about Agile.
